Keep Calm and Learn On

As ordered by the Governor of the State of Ohio, the Barberton City Schools will ctransition to Remote Learning at the end of the school day, Friday, March 13, 2020 through April 12, 2020. Students have been provided relevant assignments to complete at home.

School Day:
8:25 amDoors open for breakfast program in cafeteria
8:40 amFirst Bell. Students report to class.
8:55 amTardy Bell. After bell, students must be signed in by a parent.

Student dismissal K-4th.
Student Call Off:
For the safety of our students, parents must call the school office 330-745-5492  in the morning if their child will be absent. Please follow with a written note stating the reason for the absence when the student returns to school.

Dismissal Procedure:
As stated in the student handbook: Any change in your student’s established dismissal routine such as: going to another relative’s house, not riding the bus, or latchkey plans MUST BE IN WRITING FROM THE PARENT and given to the classroom teacher before the 8:55 a.m. tardy bell. Phone calls are not acceptable unless it is an emergency situation. Thank you in advance for helping keep your children safe.

If a parent has multiple children, then pick up and drop off will be at the location of the youngest child.
