Barberton Elementary East News
Clay Leaves

Fourth grade students at Barberton Elementary East made imprints of real leaves during a recent art class. The students pressed the leaves into clay and then trimmed around them. Afterwards, the clay leaves were fired and glazed.

Author Study at BEE

Students in Mrs. Vinay's 3rd grade class, at Barberton East Elementary, have been learning about a well-known Barberton author; Conrad Storad. His newest book, Gator, Gator Second Grader has just been released. Mr. Storad mailed the class an autographed copy and encouraged the young authors to keep reading & respect nature's creatures.

Stay Warm!

All the first grade students at Barberton Elementary East received a brand new winter hat donated to the school by the Akron Blind Center. These hats were especially hand knitted by individuals who are blind. We want to thank the Akron Blind Center for their generosity and kindness.

Wash those hands!

The kindergarten and first grade students at Barberton Elementary East were recently visited by the Advancement to Nursing students. The Nursing students modeled and taught the young children how to wash their hands appropriately.

Thank you Barberton Community Foundation for helping us show our Purple Pride!
