Special Congratulations to Lindsey Swaino for Receiving National Honor Society Scholarship



The Barberton High School National Honor Society proudly announces Lindsey Swaino as one of the recipients of a prestigious $3200 National Semi-Finalist Scholarship. Lindsey's outstanding achievements and dedication to the four pillars of the National Honor Society – scholarship, leadership, service, and character – have earned her this esteemed recognition.


As part of her application for the National Honor Society Scholarship, Lindsey penned a compelling reflection on how the four pillars of the National Honor Society resonate in her daily life. In addition to her academic pursuits, Lindsey was previously employed at Walgreens, where she started as a cashier. She currently is employed as a manager at Lake 8. Her professional growth and leadership within the workplace mirror her determination and drive for success in all endeavors.


Lindsey Swaino's aspirations extend beyond high school as she plans to attend the University of Akron to major in PreMed, with the goal of obtaining a degree in Biomedical Science.


Offering sage advice to fellow students, Lindsey encourages them to get involved, volunteer, and participate in activities that distinguish them from their peers. Her inclusive message inspires others to believe in their capabilities and pursue their dreams with unwavering determination.
