WOODFORD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

“Working Together, Learning Forever” is the motto of Woodford Elementary. When walking into this building, you will see students working with other students, teachers working with other teachers, as well as parents and community members helping in classrooms throughout the year.

 The Woodford PTA is active in the building. The organization plans and coordinates activities for the school such as school fundraisers, popcorn Fridays, the annual book fair, and classroom holiday parties. These activities provide fun for the students throughout the school year. 

 Along with our dedicated parents comes the dedication of Woodford’s teachers and staff. Our teachers plan many fun events throughout the year that not only emphasize their ability to work together, but also to impact student achievement. Classroom teachers and intervention specialists have implemented TEACH methods to improve achievement of students with autism as well as all Woodford students. The culture at Woodford is creative, caring and demonstrates a love for children and life-long learning.
