Summer Youth Virtual Education Program

Summit County’s new Summer Youth Virtual Education Program.  It is for 16-18-year old youths from families that meet TANF-eligibility – meaning household income that does not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Youth may earn up to $500 for participating over this summer.  The program is online-only, and for this year replaces the traditional summer youth program which has seen many Barberton youths participate.

Youth will attend online classes and workshops, complete homework assignments, and other activities designed to enhance work-readiness and job skills.
