Barberton High School’s Advancement to Nursing student, Cassandra Neely, along with the rest of the nursing class and Pam Eaton, RN demonstrated hand washing to Portage Elementary students. The students learn that hand washing is the key to preventing the spread of disease and keeping them and their families healthy. By using glow germ and a black light, the students were able to see how germs are spread and what happens if they do not wash their hands properly.
